Good News for
Coeliacs The Irresistible
Gluten Free Food Show at On 3rd & 4th October I was
part of a small group manning a stall at the show. We were there to
demonstrate and preview a NEW
and wonderful Gluten Free
Bread mix that will be on the market before Christmas. It was a
huge success, the unbelieving expressions on people's faces as they
lifted a loaf of light, fluffy, crusty bread was amazing. When
they tasted it, some even asked if it was truly Gluten Free as it was
so like "normal" Bread! The mix makes actual dough that can be
kneaded and moulded into the usual bread shapes such as rolls, loaves,
scrolls, fruit buns, pizzas etc. It keeps well and people were
able to eat bread that was a day old and it was still soft and fresh
enough to eat without toasting. Great for sandwiches!!! Developed over the last 15 years
by our good friend Terry (Lansell Cottage Industries), the inventor of
our current gluten free bread mix, this new bread mix will be available
at either of our stores as soon as it is on the market. It will carry the new name of
"F.G. Roberts Cottage Loaf". Keep checking here for
